Frequently asked questions.

What do I bring ?

Most importantly your camera or phone to take picture! Ensure you bring sunscreen as you may need additional sun protection and towel/ change of clothes if needed for after your tide. We will provide a storage area for your belongings while on the trail so you can dry off and change after the ride.

What should I wear ?

You can wear what ever is comfortable but also safe. Wearing clothes that are easy to move in. parts of the trail is exposed so wearing clothes that will cover up would be best unless youre working on your tan. Closed toed shoes are the best option.

Do I need riding experience ?

Riding experience is not necessary as we cater to your needs. Before hand we will explain how to mount and basic commands for your horse. This way you will know how to ask your horse how to walk on, turn left and right and most importantly how to slow down and stop.

For safety reasons we cannot take riders over 190 lb / 85kg. During the booking process you will be asked your body weight plus the weight of all other riders so that we can prepare the appropriate horses. Please ensure that you input the correct weight as it can become a safety issue for you and the horse.

Each guest is given their own horse. Young children and nervous adults are led by our guides. For safety reasons we do not allow double riding and children must be five years or older to be able to join our tours. If they are younger we can also accommodate them at the farm.

Horseback riding is an outdoor activity, and we head out on the trails during rain or sun. However, if we get notification that the weather is unsafe then we will reschedule or refund your ride.
